Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer and folk festival, held annually in Munich, Germany, and attracts millions of visitors. The 16-day festival, which begins in September and ends on the first Sunday of October, features beer, traditional German food, music, parades, and carnival rides. It originated in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen, and it has since become a vital part of Bavarian and German culture.
